MonkeyCode in the Agentic Era: A SaaS Pilot With Hard Stop Conditions

A proposed decision model for evaluating AI investment in the agentic era is presented. The model focuses on attributed SaaS and model spend, setup, training, and administration, reviewer and repair hours, and fully loaded hourly engineering cost. It suggests capping a pilot at 20 eligible tasks over two weeks and using a cost-per-accepted-task formula. The model also includes scenarios for acceptance, review effort, and service spend, with conservative, expected, and optimistic thresholds. The article proposes using this model to evaluate MonkeyCode SaaS, a plausible candidate due to its online service, managed server environments, and centralized model/task/requirement management.
