Dish files for bankruptcy, but is not shutting down

Dish has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy due to unforeseen delays in selling 5G spectrum to AT&T. The company will continue to operate its TV services, including Dish TV and Sling TV, during the process. It plans to emerge from bankruptcy by the end of Q3 2026. Boost Mobile and Gen Mobile are unaffected. No immediate action is required from customers.
