Apple’s rumored ‘Upgrade’ program brings lease-to-own pricing for iPhones, Macs, and iPads
Apple is launching an 'Apple Upgrade' program for leasing new devices, similar to a car lease, with options to upgrade or return at the end of the lease. Component and RAM shortages drive prices higher. The program will require a soft credit check and is backed by Klarna. It replaces the current iPhone Upgrade Program and launches on July 28th. This affects iPhone, Mac, iPad, and Apple Watch purchases.
