Will Matter finally be able to do what it should have always done?

Matter 1.6 introduces Joint Fabric, a feature allowing multiple ecosystems to manage a single shared smart home network. This enables devices to be controlled by any authorized platform without needing to be shared between apps. This is a long-awaited feature for smart home interoperability. It's expected to simplify smart home setup and control. This feature is part of the new Matter 1.6 specification.
