Challenges and Accomplishments in the task of building an AI based intent classifier

Building a local AI agent for voice-controlled file-system operations was achieved through a four-stage pipeline using OpenAI Whisper for speech-to-text, Llama3 for intent classification, and Python/Streamlit for backend and UI. This project demonstrates the feasibility of local AI, reducing latency and subscription costs. Key challenges included intent ambiguity and ensuring safety through strict constraints. To implement, use a robust system prompt and restrict file operations to a dedicated folder.
