Apple and Epic argue over how much Apple should get from purchases made outside the App Store

Apple has proposed a new structure to collect fees on external purchases made via links outside its in-app purchase system. This is part of its ongoing legal dispute with Epic Games. The proposal is seen as 'far outside of the bounds' by Epic. Apple cannot currently take a commission on external purchases due to a court ruling. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals is now involved in the case.
