Building AgriAlert: A Proactive Marathi AI Voice Assistant for Indian Farmers

AgriAlert is a Marathi AI voice assistant for Indian farmers, providing real-time weather advisories, market rates, and crop care guidance. It was built under the #VoiceForBharat Challenge and features strict guardrails, long-term caller memory, and proactive outbound calls. Engineers can run their own voice agent using the Murf API Key and LiveKit Cloud Project. The project aims to bridge the divide between farmers and technology, and the next step is direct integration with official state government services.
