Recognition tooling for engineering teams (and why we built our own)

Distributed engineering teams often overlook the impact of recognition on employee morale. A well-designed recognition tool can help, but most teams do it poorly. To be effective, a recognition tool should be integrated into the workflow, peer-to-peer, and provide analytics. Mobile Reality built their own tool after trying off-the-shelf options, which failed to meet these criteria.
