We Built an AI-Powered Semantic Release Pipeline - Here's Everything We Learned

We rebuilt our release process with an AI-powered semantic release pipeline to automate versioning, code review, and deployment. This eliminated manual errors and ensured accountability. The pipeline uses branch prefixes to determine the type of change and updates version numbers automatically. We learned that AI can catch real bugs and improve code quality. To implement this, use a four-environment pipeline with long-lived branches and define a consistent process for emergency fixes.
