Anomaly detection using dynamic thresholds and two-year-long alerts in Cloud Monitoring
Cloud Monitoring now supports dynamic thresholding and two-year-long alerts for anomaly detection. This feature addresses the challenge of setting static thresholds that may become too low as workloads grow. With dynamic thresholding, you can set policies that reference a metric's historical data, allowing for flexibility and a single threshold that works for all workloads. This feature is currently in preview and supports year-over-year and quarter-over-quarter analysis. You can now create policies that alert on anomalies without setting a static number as the threshold.
