While updating a web app's mobile view to match the iOS app's native sheet component, the author encountered compatibility issues with browser layer and compositing. The issue was resolved by disabling the background scaling effect in the Vaul library. This fix improved the animation on iOS (WebKit-based) browsers, making it usable and preventing crashes.
