PQC in Plaintext: Google Cloud’s post-quantum cryptography roadmap
Google Cloud has shared its post-quantum cryptography (PQC) roadmap to migrate to PQC by 2029, focusing on three key domains: mitigating SNDL risks, ensuring integrity against forgery, and enhancing cryptographic agility. This effort is part of Google's strategy to achieve full post-quantum readiness across Google Cloud. The company is actively transitioning internal infrastructure and customer-facing services to PQC algorithms and collaborating with partners to deploy PQC solutions across its Sovereign Cloud initiatives. Google Cloud aims to achieve full PQC readiness by 2029 and continue efforts into the 2030s to support evolving global standards.
