Windows Update will soon automatically roll back faulty drivers
Microsoft is improving Windows 11's Windows Update experience by adding a feature that automatically rolls back faulty drivers installed through Windows Update, reducing frustration for users. This new feature, called Cloud-Initiated Driver Recovery, replaces problematic drivers with previously working ones. Users will no longer have to manually roll back drivers or wait for hardware vendors to publish new ones. This change is part of Microsoft's efforts to fix Windows 11. Users can also soon pause updates indefinitely.
