Kubernetes v1.36: Deprecation and removal of Service ExternalIPs

The .spec.externalIPs field for Service in Kubernetes is being deprecated due to security concerns. Users are advised to disable it and consider alternatives. A future release will drop implementation of the behavior from kube-proxy. Users should enable the DenyServiceExternalIPs admission controller as a precaution. This change affects users who set the field externalIPs in their Services.
