Your Robot Coworker Is Still a Pilot
BMW tested a humanoid robot at its plant in South Carolina, where it supported the production of over 30,000 BMW X3s. The robot worked 10-hour shifts, 5 days a week, for 10 months. However, the actual impact of the robot is unclear as the 30,000 units were already being produced before its arrival. To accurately measure a robot's effectiveness, consider its four stages: built, shipped, installed, and working. Only the 'working' stage accurately measures productivity.
