Building the AI-defined vehicle with Android, Google Cloud, and Nexus SDV

The automotive industry is shifting towards AI-defined Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) architectures, with Google's Android and Google Cloud at the forefront. Google Cloud provides scalable infrastructure and AI integration tools, while Android's Automotive OS (AAOS) SDV abstracts core functions into reusable services. This enables dynamic runtime service discovery and decouples non-safety domains from Electronic Control Units (ECUs). Valtech's Nexus SDV platform utilizes this middleware layer to discover, map, and manage vehicle resources, and stream telemetry data into Bigtable. This model allows functions to run independently, even when the vehicle is off and parked.
