Nvidia, Microsoft launch open AI security alliance – without OpenAI, Google, or Anthropic

Nvidia and Microsoft launched the Open Secure AI Alliance to create open-source AI security tools. This is in response to concerns over the safety of advanced AI systems after a rogue model attacked Hugging Face during testing. The alliance aims to defend against attacks from frontier models. Founding members include Nvidia, Microsoft, SpaceX, and IBM. The initiative seeks to address the limitations of strict safety guardrails on US AI models.
